PULSON was founded in 1981 as a company with partly Polish and partly foreign capital, created to design and produce professional electronic equipment. Presently the company is a private one, owned by electronic engineer Jacek Jagielski, MSc., co-founder and managing director of the former company. At the beginning the company designed and produced switch mode power supply for individual order, mainly for the British and domestic markets. In 1991 Pulson was co-designer and producer of the billing system BIRT II for the Polish telecommunications company TP S.A. The system covered most telephone exchanges in Poland at the time. In 1993 the production of phone and fax modems based on Rockwell company’s integrated circuits was started. These devices had a certification of the Ministry of the Interior, which authorised their installation in the special services nets (police, firefighters, army). At the end of 1998 works started on designing devices for radio
monitoring. In the second half of 2000 the company began a serial production of
transmitters for VHF frequency band. The devices produced by Pulson are made using the technology of automatic SMT assembly, which ensures high quality and parameter repeatability. The transmitters are tested with use of specialized measuring equipement,
made by IFR and MARCONI, as well as in a climatic chamber. |
